NBC Interview of Dr. Helmus about spotted lanternfly

Dr. Helmus was interviewed this week by the local Philadelphia news at WCAU NBC 10. The New York City affiliate WNBC 4 also ran a segment of the interview. The story focused on Philadelphians seeing a lot more spotted lanternfly this year than last year. Dr. Helmus was asked to comment on why spotted lanternfly is such a pest and how it can hitchhike on cars and lays eggs on almost anything smooth that is outdoors.
