I am a Biology and Mathematics double major at Temple University, where I am interested in assessing how human activity has affected our ecosystems and how we can use that to inform future ecological decisions. To do that, I am interested in how we can use and refine mathematical models for predictive ecology.
Through trade, previously isolated islands are now more “connected” than ever. In the iEcoLab, my primary project hopes to assess the Caribbean shipping network and link it to changes in island species diversity over time.
