Jocelyn E. Behm

I am a biologist who studies species declines: the mechanisms that cause them and solutions that reduce future declines. I have no strict allegiance to any taxonomic group or region. Rather, my goal is to address pressing conservation concerns so that effective conservation strategies can be devised.

My research falls under two categories:

1) Identifying mechanisms of species declines

2) Researching strategies to reduce future species declines

I use a mixture of field surveys, lab and field experiments, and modelling to answer questions.
