It is a bittersweet day at the iEcoLab, as Isabella Smith, who has been a member of the lab since 2021, leaves to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Montana focusing on prescribed forest fires. Isabella started at the iEcoLab as an undergraduate research assistant, researching spotted lanternfly and the insects feeding on their honeydew with our PhD student, Stefani Cannon. Isabella graduated with her bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Temple University before serving as the iEcoLab Manager for the past year. Over the course of her time here, she became an incredibly valued member of our team, and she will truly be missed. We are so proud of her, and we wish her the best of luck as she moves on to bigger and brighter things. Congratulations, Isabella!
