Nick wins best presentation award

Nick Huron, a graduate student with Dr. Helmus, won this year’s best student conservation presentation award at the Annual meeting of the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists. These meetings bring together researchers from across the United States and abroad to collaborate and present their research on amphibians, reptiles, and fish. Nick presented the first chapter of his Ph.D. thesis on the nonrandom extinction of island lizards in the Caribbean. Congratulations to Nick!
