Evan Zangakis presented a poster at Temple University’s annual undergraduate research symposium on his work scripting a spotted lanternfly risk-of-spread map application. His poster elicited a large response from people, many of whom had never heard of the spotted lanternfly invasion. He not only presented his research as a poster and digitally on a tablet, but he handed out information pamphlets from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to interested Philadelphians. iEcoLab is still working hard on the application, but you too can check out the first version here.
