On Tuesday, Dr. Behm presented research at the “Urban Futures: Green, Sustainable, Just?” conference at Temple. She participated in a session on social and ecological dimensions of urban greening, and her talk, “Using the currency of ecosystem services to quantify the sustainability of the local food system in Philadelphia, PA,” was a presentation of work from the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services project. The conference brought together social scientists, ecologists, and others who are passionate about the future of urban areas.
