Summer SLF Fieldwork Successful

This summer, our field crew has been busy counting Spotted Lanternflies (SLF) across Temple University’s campus. Twice a week, we’ve carefully surveyed flowerbeds and street trees, collecting valuable data on SLF habitat preferences. These efforts will continue until the SLF population naturally declines in late fall.

A huge thank you to our amazing undergraduates and research assistants—Anya, Lilah, Winter, Gage, Fatma, Claire, Isabella, Hannah S., and Hannah J.—who’ve invested their time and energy into this project this summer!
