Effects of SLF on parasitic Hymenoptera

Undergraduate Neuroscience major, Claire Becker, represented the Integrative Ecology Lab at the 2024 Temple University Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creativity. Claire’s poster titled “Effects of spotted lanternfly on parasitic Hymenopteran community composition” reported on preliminary results finding differences in parasitic hymenopteran abundances in the presence and absence of SLF. The analysis suggest SLF may be decreasing local parasitic hymenopteran abundances.

The Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creativity is the university’s largest annual symposium highlighting the work of students from many disciplines.
