Stefani Cannon, Ph.D. candidate, is expanding her work to tropical lanternfly. Stationed at the Camaquiri Conservation Initiative in northeastern Costa Rica, she has begun her field season collecting data on residency periods and niche partitioning of multiple species of lanternfly (Fulgoridae) native to Costa Rica. Stefani drew inspiration for this project by combining her years of experience in tropical ecology and spotted lanternfly.
