Out preprint, Benefits and limitations of three-dimensional printing technology for ecological research, has been published in BMC Ecology. Led by Dr. Behm, the paper reviews uses of 3D printing in ecology, and discusses ways that the emerging technology can be used to further research. Researchers in the iEcoLab used 3D printing last year to create lizard models to do field predation testing of lizards in Curacao.
