Predicting the Spread of Exotic Species

The rate of exotic species spread increases annually, and one of the major challenges is predicting which species will invade a particular area. We use a combination of abiotic, biotic, and economic data to build predictive models of exotic species distributions. Primarily, our work is focused on predicting the spread of terrestrial exotic species across Caribbean islands through a project funded by the Dutch National Science Foundation (NWO).
